The current recession has affected many families. The unemployment rate has been at an all-time high. Sometimes it is inevitable that lay offs will occur but there are some things you can to do help you keep your job.
Take your job seriously. Be on time, be polite, and be passionate. Become an expert in your field by continuing your education. You can also ask your boss for extra projects or hours. Let management see what a hard worker you are and what a wonderful attitude you have. Go the extra mile for customers. You can win over customers easily by displaying a positive and cheerful attitude. Let them know how much you appreciate them. Ask God for wisdom and do your very best at your work tasks. Who knows, you may even find yourself getting a promotion instead of a lay off.
